Speight is still Speight. I think he's the thing that'll keep us from winning big games.

The defense looked even more fierce than last year. The score may have been 33-17, but they only gave up 3. Speight threw two TDs for the Gators. We had a TD taken off the board on a bad call and missed two field goals, so the final score could have easily been 40 or 43 to 17. That's including the two Speighterceptions as drive-enders. And the defense still only gave up 3, and basically just killed the Florida offense all day. Offense converts some of those 6 field goal attempts into TDs and it's an even more lopsided game. I don't know what the ToP ended up being, but we pretty much had the ball all game.

Went much better than I expected...
Yes their defense looked pretty dominating. Big and fast.

Emphasis on the 'fast'. I've never seen this much speed on a Michigan team.

Other thing of note: Michigan has had a problem at kicker for years.

And while the new kid did miss two today, he was also the first kicker in school history to make two 50+ yard kicks in a single game, and he missed a third a couple of feet right.

Not impressed with Atlanta's new stadium... looks too mechanical with the roof design.

So, you live in LA and can't watch Dodgers games or the Pac-12 Network.

Makes sense.

I had a chat last night with my bud Brian Kamenetzky last night, who covers LA sports and does post game for the Lakers. What he said makes sense.

Everyone that wants to watch the Dodgers already has TWC/Spectrum, so if DTV increased their rates to cover that addition, they'd lose more subscribers than they'd gain because people would say "Why did my bill go up by $7-10 dollars per month?".

Same with the PAC12 network.

Unfortunately, it is what it is. As long as DTV has a monopoly on Sunday Ticket, I'm stuck.

DTV already charges out the ass, so I just assumed their subscribers don't look at their bill.....

Yay, capitalism!
