Could be good. Lampkin is talented but too skinny.

Spend the year rehabbing and getting bigger. Come back and make some noise in next year's camp.

He's 5'11, 180. I don't think putting much more than 5 pounds on him is a good idea.

Terez had him in the 170s, which is what I'm going by at this time.

Regardless, he almost certainly wasn't going to make the roster, and I'm happy we get another good look at this kid next year.

I'm kind of leaning that way, too, since Jones has been injured and Kemp has had a great rapport with Mahomes.

Tomorrow night's game may determine the last four players or so that make the 53.

S. Jones, Kemp, King, Devey, Robinson, Chesson and Miller are all in a tenuous spot, although Miller was given a $300k signing bonus so they'd eat that if he's cut.

I don't think Kearse would add much but that's likely an example of what'll be available after Saturday's cuts.

I agree with you both on Kemp. He may just make his way on board. I like Dieter Jones and kemp for that last spot and PS spots

Maybe S.jones as an IR candidate for a return later in the second half of the season. Depending on how bad his shoulder is

NFL.com actually has him at 189 from The Combine.

Kemp has also made several good special teams plays.

For our 7th WR, that's probably more pressing than any rapport with our backup QB.

I wasn't aware Jones was injured - that does change things up a bit.
