Bold prediction: Eric Murray makes the probowl

This kid is going to make the most of his opportunity.

He's gonna hammer some guys and show he's talented in coverage, too.

Lots of talent around him.

Berry will be coaching him from the sideline, too.

He won't be Eric Berry, but he will be a lot better than some here think.

I do have a good feeling about Murray.

He's got the range & athleticism. He obviously has alot of experience in man coverage, so maybe he'll be the one to man up on TEs. He's physical.

We'll see. But maybe he can be like Nelson who didn't play alot at CB his rookie year but got playing time his 2nd year and played very well.

That's actually a great comparison for my expectations.

Yep. I mean, we've seen a lot of guys play safety really well here. Murray has probably just as much or more potential than many that came before him from 2013-2016.

I think Nick Jacobs probably nailed it when he said that Berry will be missed most in run support. His willingness to lay the wood at any given moment is rare. Of course, Murray is known for being physical too, he just probably can't lay out Cam Newton or Le'Veon Bell like EB has. But Jacobs also said that they should be able to hold it down in terms of coverage pretty well. That makes sense to me.

I thought he would be better too but it was based on hoping so. There is still time for him to improve but I don't think he will get as much playing time if he doesn't get it.

Before we played the Raiders. He had a shit game but the ruling is still out on him.

We spent 3 of the top 180 picks in last year's draft on DBs, including 3rd & 4th round picks, and not a single one of them could play dead in a Western.
