Do you like action packed, CGI movies with mild humor that are mostly completely unrealistic? Do you like that kind of content enough to ignore obvious plot holes?
If so, you'll like this one. If you're too uptight to understand that it's not a serious movie and it's not designed to be taken seriously, then you won't enjoy it. It's like when people complain about the new TMNT movie or the Transformers movies. "That was soooo unrealistic" |

* whoops, spoilers ** Perhaps I would have dug this movie more in an IMAX type setting, as it was clearly made for that medium, and not a 12" monitor on the back of an airplance seat |

It's pretty stupid when a studio will spend thousands of hours on computer effects but can't write a script that can't hold even a scintilla of logic. |

Some day adults will understand when they're watching a movie that's made for kids, and stop acting like it was suppose to be anything more than that. My 8yr old gave zero ****s about whether or not a chick can run in stilettos. |

FWIW, I thought the movie was complete crap but the final 10 minutes were pure little kiddie VFX goodness.

Ok, so here is Colin Trevorrow's IMDB page...
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1119880/?ref_=nv_sr_1 So how, exactly, did he land Episode IX? I am truly curious. If it was based off of Jurassic World, then I would say that is not exactly doing "due diligence", imo. |

I agree. I was totes on board with JJ for ep 7. Totes on board with Johnson for 8.
Trevorrrowoweoower makes me super nervous for 9. I just hope he surrounds himself with the right people. Or that Disney has the balls to cut him loose if he starts to suck. |

I checked my brain at the door.....and was still bored for more than half the movie. The first half was almost unwatchable.
