Not saying that Tannehill is better (he’s not). The point is that the narrative that the Titans can’t pass is deeply flawed and not reflective of the way this team played all season under Tannehill. Looking forward to this game! should be a goodie
It's about HOW they pass, and how effective they are in certain game situations. Just like Lamar Jackson.

The Faketriots and Baltimore could not exploit that weakness but the Chiefs can easily attack your weak pass defense with quick scores and force you to play from behind.
It's okay, they'll just keep running Henry down 3 scores in the 4th. No big deal.

Check out this tweet

I hope @KCIAirport is not closing the airfield because they know the Tennessee Titans @Titans are heading your way. At BNA @Fly_Nashville we’re not afraid. I wouldn’t make a Titan mad, it won’t end well for @Chiefs

You didn’t against New England.

Against Baltimore, 3 of your 4 scoring drives started on Baltimore’s 45 or further in. Your offense took advantage of short fields.

Credit for doing that, but the Titans offense has been gifted great field position to allow that.

So you are not the 8th worst pass defense, statistically in the NFL this season?

Absolutely not, but don’t act like your offense has been creating those points.

It’s been the defense creating turnovers, because their strength matches up well with what Baltimore does well. The Titans struggle with defending the perimeter and Baltimore’s RB...er....QB didn’t have the ability to take advantage of that. It took Baltimore out of their game, which led to 7 of their 11 drives resulting in turnovers.

KC is different. Our QB can and will make any throw. His vision and arm talent are second to none. We have speed all over the field. This is a very poor match up for the Titans defense.

It was a misconception that I watched Tyreek Hill roast their best corner over and over.....or that they are ranked about worst in the league at defending TEs.

dont confuse soft zone D as being a weakness of ours, we allow teams to dink and dunk between the 20's, then tighten up in the RZ and force ppl to kick FG's

Hi Ho fellas.

There seems to be some misinformation being put out or just plain homerish/blindness.

I'll start by saying PM is incredible, and yes AR is a great coach. Your WR core is lightning on the field. And yes this KC team is not the team we faced wk 10.

BUT the Titans aren't the same team either. Henry is Henry and if you don't think he's playing out of his mind then you just refuse to see it. The guy that got over 180 yards in wk 10 is playing like he's from another world right now. Ask the 8-9 guys that NE and the Ravens stack the box with and still couldn't stop him.

The biggest thing I see being overlooked by a lot of poster is Tanne. Don't act like he's not having a incredible year. So lets look at the stats from wk 10 to the end of reg season:

Tannehill: 117 of 169 (69.2%) for 1,762 yards (10.4 YPA), 16 TDs, 2 INTs, 129.8 rating, 139 and 3 TDs rushing

Mahomes: 162 of 243 (66.7%) for 1,851 yards (7.6 YPA), 11 TDs, 4 INTs, 97.6 rating, 136 and 2 TDs rushing

Tanne has proved since he came in that he can/will toss the rock with this offense and he's been successful doing it. He just hasn't had to toss it much in the playoffs, but when he has he's dropped some dimes.

Totally think PM and your crew have brought there "A" game into the playoffs, but don't act like the Titans aren't playing at a different level, too. They're controlling the LOS on both sides, running the rock down throats with 8-9 in the box, taking advantage of every RZ trip against strong D's, and are playing at a different level, too.

Two different offensive plans of attack that meet Sunday. It's going to be a great game...I can't wait.

Oh this is beautiful. We are literally playing what we used to be and we’re the team we used to always lose to.

This has every former Chiefs team narrative now:

Game manager vs Elite QB
Strong running game vs Elite passing game

And now finally the Titans have the “bend but don’t break” defense that sets up the offense with turnovers.

We know how this one ends kiddo. We’ve been on the other side enough times.

I'm just ready for this, beating the Titans will be cathartic, to watch the Chiefs, with an elite QB, beat the team that resembles everything they use to be.....right down to the Patriot turd leading it.

You realize that's not a real thing, right? It's called having a shitty defense that can't cover, but find more success when the field shortens because, duh, it's ****ing easier.

Every shitty defense is magically better in the red zone. And of course they're all "Bend but don't break".
