*****Severe Weather Thread-2020*****

Many may know-I am a weather watcher. I have a weather station at school that posts to many weather services. Also have a website with a Twitter account. (with a Chiefs list)

Below is the Windy.com map. I centered it on KC but it can be moved to where you are located. Or go to Windy.com-there is also an app.
Very versatile and tons of possibilities. This map is fully functional for the viewer.

Some have already had severe weather-where as I am looking at 5 inches of snow for Easter.

Some national coverage of the derecho covering Cedar Rapids. Truly devastating, my sis-in-law posted a bunch of pictures of the Grinnell area on FB and it's amazing that there wasn't more structural damage.

Hey, it rained around here, for the first time since last year (I think). A whopping 0.01 inches or something like that. Wingless fleas might have drowned.

Wow, haven't seen anything remotely like that since I lived in STL-MO, 30 years ago.

Cool time lapses... weather is still a bit of a novelty here, where a storm like that rolls in and goes away within an hour... and oftentimes there will be a rain cloud or two and it could be raining on your house, but not across the street.

It's just so much different from living in the midwest for so many years.
