Urban Meyers offense is herm Edwards bad. Has a brilliant offensive coordinator but today's horrible offense has urban Meyer all over it.

Penn state has played better. But this offensive playcalling is nothing like what Ryan day was running against tcu. This dink and dunk offense is vintage urban Meyer. Brilliant recruiter, horrendous offensive coach.

Penn State should be leading by more than just 13 points considering how much they are dominating Ohio State thus far.

That's about as bad of a turnover as you will ever see. What a game changer.

Urban has got to knock off the ridiculous slow developing rpo shit when you have an immobile pocket qb. Against a dline bringing that much pressure. Same stupid strategy he used with Cardale.

On the road against a top tier team in a hostile environment. If they're championship caliber tOSU will find a way to win it and that's what good teams do. Not scoring 35 in the first half every game doesn't mean their O sucks.

But the offensive playcalling is contributing to it. It's not even close to what Ryan day was running in urbans absence. Conservative as hell, slow plodding rpo, predictable dink and dunk... Vintage urban Meyer. When the DL is dominating urban has to stop with the slow as molasses rpo when you have a qb like this. But urban is so stuck on this offense that he never adjusts out of it. |

I would argue urban won a national title a few years ago because Cardale was new and they were trying to figure out how to use him. Tom Hermans offense used Cardale strengths as a pocket passer. Herman left... Urban pigeonholes Cardale into an rpo that is horribly suited for him. I don't love it with haskins either. If urban wants to throw the backup Tate Martell to run this offense... Ok... He's actually mobile enough to do it. But doing it with haskins despite how we're seeing psu defend it... That's a signature of a coach trying to force a qb into a scheme instead of adjusting the scheme to the qb.
