Awesome. This is EXACTLY the kind of thing I want to see coming from Veach and his crew. If his drafts are of the same quality as what we're seeing above, the Chiefs will be in really good hands and shape. I backed Dorsey quite a bit simply because he was much more active and diligent than Carl or the Other Shithead, but I have to admit that he DID have problems and that they have put KC in a bad spot. Hopefully Veach can fix these things sooner rather than later, because I REALLY want Mahomes to have a fighting chance when he takes over the ship next season. |

It’s a good deal, but I’m not excited about the signing. He looked pretty bad last year.
Sure would be amazing if he ends up finding the fountain of youth...it’s not like he’s 37...he’s 32. |

For a corner that's the twilight of their career because for some reason they lose acceleration and top end speed once they're past 30 (same as RBs). He most likely has one year left after this one to play at a high level if you're optimistic. I think he was primarily a man coverage corner in his hay day so it would probably be tough for him to try to convert to safety if he wanted to extend his viable career as a starter.

For every corner that is still capable a few years over 30 there are literally thousands of others who aren't. Revis does have star quality like those guys so, like I said, maybe another year or two after this one of viable playing capability.
(also note that literally every corner you showed that is older than Revis--which is all of them except Talib--all have started less than 8 games this season) |

Terence Newman was looked at like a jag forever, but he's still playing at a pretty high level at 39. Crazy.

Revis is a POS. Nice try by Chiefs management to try and distract us from the Chiefs collapse though.
