*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

If Chiefs hold Patriots to FG, they can obviously score a TD and win it or a FG to tie it.
Yeah those stats don't account for the fact that we had Breeland ****ing Speaks on the field for the last play of the game.

Where are you getting this? There's no way this is right. Way higher chance than 3 in 1000 of a penalty or something pushing them back and making them settle for a FG.

I think there are multiple factors at play for why his pass accuracy has improved: he's gotten comfortable with his offensive line, he's learned to beat the 2 deep shell defense, his foot seems to be completely healed, and he trusts his receivers to not drop passes or fumble. All that nonsense earlier in the season about whether Mahomes was done was just that, nonsense. Man, we are so lucky to have this guy.

I'd love to see that NFL science show or whatever it was called do a special on the Mahomes curve ball (if it is curving)

I watched it kinda frame by frame...the ball actually lands at about the same spot from where he threw it (linear)...I think it's the movement on the play that makes it look like it's got some English on it.

Yeah, this one isn't as convincing as the GIF posted a couple years ago... there was one I remember that was obvious curveball.

Rousseau got a 2-run dinger off Mahomes in October but failed to get a hit off him in the postseason.

Mahomes just has nasty stuff, especially in 0-2 counts with a great catcher like Tyreek Hill. Never seen a catcher with his speed, either.

One of the greatest strikeouts I've ever seen, Mahomes was in Denver and out nowhere decided to pitch lefty to Von Miller.

Miller whiffed big time. No one knew Mahomes could pitch from both sides. A lefty with his power? Unreal.

Miller is 0-for-life against Mahomes.
