First negative article I had ever seen on the Chiefs was from him. I was such an unabashed homer and it was such a foreign perspective that I wrote him and the Star a letter to which he actually responded. It had to be close to 20 years ago.

There were times back in the day when he annoyed me, but I never really hated him. I do also happen to agree with a lot of his takes, or at least somewhat.
