Annoyingly, I can’t find Wonderlic scores for either Hitchens or Damien Wilson. A 14 indicates someone with basically average intelligence.

Gay scored better than Isaiah Simmons and right in line with Logan Wilson.

Gay’s physical traits are dynamic, though. They are first-round.

I like the upside here. He may never be a play-calling MLB, but he offers an immediate upgrade on the weak side.

Any way we could condense the thread start posts so we don't have to scroll down so much?

The subtitles on Facebook aren’t working very well. The video of our pick has Goodell saying “The Kansas City Chiefs select really gay linebacker.” Lol

Reminds me of Chris Jones. Fell for different reasons, but would absolutely be first rd picks if they went back to school another year.

It seems like, and this may just be my perception based on a small sample size-but it seems to me that EVERY kid coming out of Mississippi State is raw and has discipline issues.

Like...it's an SEC school, so they attract good athletes, but don't particularly coach well or have a structured team environment.

They're always "inconsistent" and have some behavioral "red flags", or some fights, or positive drug tests or something. They're all "projects" who have great measurables but will need coaching to reach their potential.

Am I wrong? Does it just seem that way?

Fletcher Cox is probably the exception. He was pretty highly rated on everyone’s board.

Last guy we drafted from Mississippi State turned out to be pretty good, last I checked.

If they were polished they would have been at Alabama and LSU. There's a reason why they were Bulldogs.

Total ****? Yes, I hate most people.

Terrible talent evaluator? Debatable, but likely a better track record than Scott Pioli.

Hated by everyone? While more probable than not, unlikely to include "everyone."

Scott Pioli? I'm not near enough the neat freak or am I incompetent enough to emulate much less be Scott Pioli.
