He doesn't have the tools to make up for mistakes, but when he diagnoses correctly, he's on point.

Not everyone can be a blue-chipper.

He's not a cornerstone, but he's an asset.

CP doesn't appreciate Dan the man but seems like the people that matter on the coaching staff does. I welcome Dirty Dan for another one-year run.

Not taking away from the great plays he has made, and without him we may not have even made the Superbowl a year ago. But dang, I really wish our defense was good enough to not need him, a bunch of mediocrity with a few great plays scattered in.
