These ****ing franchises, man. Terminator was SO good. Then it just went to shit.

Such a shame. You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

I’m a fan of T3. It some some great action scenes and a ballsy ending.

I don’t even remember how that one ended.. is that the one where Skynet launches all the nukes and they realize Judgement Day can’t be stopped?

It starred Nick Stahl as John Conner and Claire Danes who were actually pretty good in it I thought.

Embargo comes off Tuesday. Seems like this may actually be good.


@AisleSeat: TERMINATOR: DARK FATE opens November 1, but the review embargo lifts on October 22. It sounds like Paramount has a lot of confidence in this one! Maybe we're finally going to get another TERMINATOR movie that isn't a crushing disappointment.
Some early reactions tonight.



@ErikDavis: #TerminatorDarkFate is the best of the TERMINATOR sequels after T2. @mikeryan: I was skeptical of TERMINATOR: DARK FATE. Thought the trailers were not great. But I would up enjoying it quite a bit, and the difference maker (vs the other post T2 sequels) is Linda Hamilton. It’s always been HER story and Hamilton adds the needed weight here.

@GermainLussier: Terminator: Dark Fate is basically Terminator: The Force Awakens. A satisfying, exciting reboot that’s essentially the best parts of T1 & T2 in a blender. T1 and T2 are legitimately two of my favorite movies of all time, though.
