*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

He's leaving the game.
A cousin of a friend of mine has court side seats for the T-wolves games. He sent an email to my friend this morning saying he rubbed shoulders with BB. Antonio brown, Floyd Mayweather, Lil Jon were all there as well.

The SB is the most epic week long party in the country. For BB to take a night out though a few days before the game... I just don't know. To me it all adds up to a guy who is trying to make the most of the end.

There's no risk, because there's so little chance doing it the other way.

Even if Mahomes turns out to be no better than say...Joe Flacco...at least you've got 10+ years with a solid starter in order to stabilize the position and give you that much more chance at a SB...instead of 4-5 years with a guy on the wrong side of 30...

See, Clark loves him some one and done playoff losses.

It's like he hates paying the light bill at arrowhead

Bull****, Clark.

I don't care WHAT Mahomes' regular season stats are, and going nine and ****ing seven is certainly not a benchmark.

I only care about what he does in the postseason, and how we get there.

Choking like a dog in the clutch five times a year is not a benchmark.

It's a bitchmark.

If Mahomes does what Smith did this season in his 1st season, it would be a fantastic success. If the starting point of Mahomes career is Alex Smiths best season ever, we're off to a riproaring start.

A 4000 25TD year is a bad benchmark for a rookie QB? Really?

So Alex's first year in KC was 3300 yards, 60% completion through 500+ attempts, 28 TDs / 7 INTs over 15 games.

That's.. not going to be hard to exceed.
