*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I think I’ll go ahead and put Pat in my lineup next week... had Cam in there, he didn’t do that great.

With Haden out especially, I expect MOAR points for KC and co...

Fouts blamed Mahomes- he literally said, the power of the throw knocked him out of bounds.

If you can't get over 60% WITH the drops included, you need to do something different. You need to improve your execution or change your style of play. I think Mahomes can do the former and I think he will.

But don't make excuses for that completion percentage. Even 'in context' it's not acceptable as a going matter.
It's one game.

Lots of QB's have games where they go 15 of 27, but they don't always go for 250 and 4 TD's and 0 turnovers in those games.

You're making a mountain out of a molehill.

I'm surprised Foutes had any time to talk with Phillip's phallus lodged in his throat.

I'd be cool with Patomic bomb, but Showtime is my favorite because it pisses off the opposition and their fans.

Kamara would be money in this offense however didn't he go a full round ahead of Hunt? I may be wrong on that...

Either way if the Chiefs would like a guy like Kamara they do come around in drafts these days there are lots of speedy versatile guys.

I well know that Spencer isn't stupid. My guess is that he is either skittish about taking hits on that knee or maybe he wasn't clear on the down. It looked to me like he thought he could make the LOG and just misjudged it. Maybe.

Still, that knee is basically rebuilt from scratch. Definitely should have gotten the first, but (considering it's his first game back on that leg) he gets a pass from me.

I'm also not sure why they were using Ware as the 3rd down RB when Damian Williams fits that role better, he's an outstanding receiver.

Use Ware to spell Hunt so you can still run the ball a good number of times without killing Hunt.

Did you notice how wide open Hunt was on that play? Would have been a first down easy. Alex would have thrown it to Hunt.

The way Kellerman is reacting is exactly what we want, if the NFL feels this way at some point we may get some ****ing calls for once.
