Had a patty melt on sourdough with caramelized onions and au gratin potatoes at a dive bar called 92nd Street here in Scottsdale after my haircut. (It was right next door)
http://92ndstreetcafe.com/ Really tasty and not greasy like patty melts can sometimes be. They charged me just $8 for an Oban 14 ! It's normally $14-20 everywhere else. |

Try making your mac and cheese adding potatoes.I add shrooms, chives, pearl onions and pretty much anything i have just like tater salad Sauto, i added peas to it once, it was still great. Keep your corn flakes bread crumbs or corn bread crumbs for me.

I really have no idea what’s for dinner, but since my holiday weekend starts tonight, this thread will be my guide in coming up with some good ideas... this place damn sure knows it’s way around a kitchen

Tonight it's a Papa Murphy pizza on the rec tec since the wife and I got home late. Was planning on burgers topped with pulled pork but I guess that will be tomorrow.

Hyvee in Olathe had a great antipasto bar when I was working out there. I’m sure Northland stores do it even better. |

Baja style fish tacos with a fresh curtido made last night, and chipotle sour cream with cilantro
Trying to reinvent the wheel got tired, so I fell back on an old standby that never disappoints... it always tastes like summer |
