Adrian Peterson Indicted

Reckless/negligent injury to a child. Indicted.

This league may not be able to sustain too many more of these black eyes. It's a mess.

When I was a child, my mother spanked me once pretty bad. It was the only time she ever did, but due to that, I don't think we ever really bonded. I was always nervous around her and even after I grew up, we never saw eye to eye. I think things like spanking can cause fear in children of their parents, and that can lead to serious issues later on in life.

I caught the belt. But not at 4 years old, open hand was plenty then. The belt didn't come into play until the open hand was no longer effective.

I don't think I have ever said anything actually psychotic

Asshole sure, but most of the people here are guilty of the same, including you...

Not sure how you can be such a hypocrite and supposedly 'smart' guy and not see that youre just as guilty of these things as me.

my mom lost it on me once too with the mini blind thing, i had marks for days, i was upset with her sure, but i got over that shit in 2 days. I have issues in life, but not from that. My mom was and is awesome, still cooks for me when i ask and im almost 38. we still have family dinners about 1-2 times a week. It depends.

Generally speaking mother-child bonding takes place very early on...much earlier than your ability to remember (1st 2-3 years of life)

It would be my opinion that if you didn't bond with her, this happened long before the spanking incident in your memory.
