I don't know why people wanted Wyatt. He's not really a fit for this offense with MVS and Mahomes isn't great at the kind of deep balls he runs.

Neither did you. Do you honestly think Rice was worth trading up for? There is no way that you do.

Veach is better than everyone on CP, but FN come on.

Seriously. I think JAX may have been interested. We moved ahead and they traded back after we picked.

It does seem weird. Hyatt seems like a more Andy Reid style WR. Rice appears to be kind of like Juju but not really a WR we seek out

One of my round 2 WRs that I mentioned. Not the guy I would have selected but I certainly wasn't 100% confident he'd make it to 63 either.

And I could go on but I like his size and if he’s a good route runner the 40 time doesn’t kill him.
Well, DHop also ran a 4.41 at his pro day. I don't remember why they said he ran a 4.57 at the Combine anymore, but he was always faster than that. Right now he might be a 4.5 guy, but everything else about DHop is elite level, so speed isn't a big issue for WRs like DHop.

You just gotta trust Veach.

His picks directly won us this last SB.

If he feels he needed to give up a 4 to trade up and get THE WR the team wanted after the 4 in the first + Mingo, then by all means, do what you do.

It’s not like they just drafted a guard or something. You’re just debating WR value.

If kid is from DFW and played at SMU, I wonder if he worked out with Mahomes recently.

That's true but the pure speed from Hyatt is something I think this team needs.

He's faster than his 40 on a tweaked hammy

edit: turns out Rice is faster than his 40 too
