I've been reading articles from outside sources thinking that Sneed could be had for a 3rd. One article even had trading Sneed and 32 to move up to 27. I would hope that Veach would find a way to work him into our cap before taking such a low-ball trade offer. He's worth more to us to keep him than that.

And if indeed the Lions and Falcons are interested then the Lions would be forced to throw their first round pick in the mix in order to top ATL's much higher second round pick. This is going to get very interesting... (All in all seven teams have inquired about Sneed. A second round pick is the floor.) |

DET #29 + #67 = KC #32 + Sneed.

These scenarios do sound correct and fair. However, there is an outside chance teams get a little greedy and run the bid up. This is not a strong FA or draft class for CB's.
Think about it, these GM's will be giddy waiting for 3:00 to come around. If there was a time to sell Sneed high it's tomorrow. |

THIS could put us in position for a small move up for WR Thomas Jr, maybe a 4th to PHI for #22.
or Would likely give us our choice between WR Franklin, Worthy or Mitchell. + A move up from #57 for a preferred target. I like it. |

Sneed + #32 (1st) + #131 (4th)
= PHI #22 (1st) + #50 (2nd) |

Not sure I see us moving up unless OT or their WR target falls Thomas is most likely going in the teens we may move up in front or f Buffalo but I think with their 11 picks they try and move up for a big splash Bean has to make up for cutting half of his Def.

The fact that Frank Clark required a first and second round pick makes me feel like anything less than Detroits first would be robbery. Especially if several teams are going after him.
But we'll see what happens. If it ends up being a lower top 50 then I'm sure there'd be a reason and I'd accept that. Playing on the tag to go hard for the 3 peat would be cool too. Regardless though I just trust Veach so we'll see what he's cookin. |
