Shameful....

A KC professor who specializes in this stuff says it was a cheap laser pointer being used from the back of the end zone. Could definitely do damage to the retina

I wasn't there, so I don't know, but I'm going to guess that there is a >0% chance you were being a ****. Plus the fact that you completely dismiss the fact that this likely happens in every sports bar in Boston puts the probability at well over 50%. Mathematically speaking, I'm not out of turn by asserting that you are indeed a ****. |

A Patriots fan did it so they could brag to their friends that they shined a laser in Tom Brady's eye. No question about it.

Laser researcher Charles Cobb, DDS, MS, PhD., said based on the size of the spot, it looks like the person was sitting far back in the end zone, possibly in a corner. |

Explain could definitely? Scientific American Quote:
Possible more potentially damaging -- although not to the eye -- is that a regular pointer laser can overwhelm the eye with light, typically called flash blindness. If a person is walking a rocky path, operating machinery, a vehicle or aircraft, this temporary loss of vision could cause injury or disaster. At night, when the pupil is most open, the effects would be magnified.[/QUOTE] Referred to above article by my brother in law, a Retinologist, who has only once seen lazer pointer retina damage and it was caused by laser pointer directed at an drug impaired person's eye intentionally at close range. Looking at an eclipse is said to do the same and Trump eyes seem fine. Last edited by cooper barrett; 01-23-2019 at 08:08 PM.. |
