This isn’t to absolve him of his horrendous play by any means, but I’m not anymore convinced we’re SB champions if he made some of those catches in the Philly and GB games. |

I personally hope they cut him, but if they don't, I think he has one shot to earn Pat's trust, and if he doesn't, he will be just a kick returner, or when he keeps dropping the ball, or making stupid mistakes, etc. in season, he is going to get released.

Toney is entering a career defining year. We aren’t picking up a 5th year option, so his NFL career depends on him having a career year in 2024.
Maybe we get Ultra Toney 24 Stranger things have happened |

Not that he is going to read this but I appreciate what he did for KC and I wish him the best of luck. He had some great games for us and made some key catches. Obviously he had some bad games as well but he is who he is.
I think he will be a good role player for whatever team signs him. Last edited by PAChiefsGuy; 02-29-2024 at 06:29 AM.. |

Came up big when it mattered most, and seemed like a genuinely good person. Look forward to MVS back at Arrowhead in a few years to bang the drum, and watch his playoff highlights on the big screen.

With Toney, I'm way more worried about his attitude than his ability. If there's a chance that he's going to be a cancer, I want him out asap. But if he has his head screwed on right next season, he could absolutely contribute and maybe even have a big year. A lot of those drops were flukey and that's not really who he's been throughout his career.
