Have only seen before Sunrise, but the dialogue was very clever. An anti-Hollywood take on love.

No way. Michael Keaton and Steve Carrell were both better. He was good, though.
Speaking of, just saw Whiplash and The Imitation Game. They were both very, very good. Birdman and Foxcatcher are still up there as my two picks for favorites of this year. |

Last weekend was a free preview weekend for all the premium channels on DirecTV so I watched some of the random movies.
Transcendence - terrible movie with laughable "science" Rio 2 - I surprisingly liked the first one but this sequel was boring with much, much worse music Winter's Tale - not quite what I was expecting but I enjoyed it. A nice urban fantasy. Airport '75 - I saw this movie in the theater when I was around 12 years old. It has all the hallmarks of a great '70's disaster movie - ludicrous "disaster", a lot of screaming and carrying on, blatent sexual harrassment of the female characters and Charlton Heston. Airplane! borrowed a lot from this movie so playing "spot the influence" is fun too. |

Took the kids to see "Big Hero 6" this last weekend. It was surprisingly better than I thought it was going to be.

It's a dammed travesty how Turing's life ended up, especially considering what he gave to the war effort. |
