I'm making French Bread Pizza tonight. Tomorrow I will probably grill chicken, and Christmas I am making a roast.

Kosher Salt/Pepper on the Roast and Sear in a Skillet with Olive Oil and a bit of Garlic. In the Crock Pot I'll be adding about 2 cups of Beef Broth along with Quartered Red Potatoes and Carrots. I usually add some minced garlic along with some chopped yellow onion. Salt and Pepper as well. 1 Bay Leaf and a few sprigs of Rosemary from the bush outside. (I have an gigantic Rosemary bush). Crock for about 10-12 hours on low. Very simple recipe that is slightly modified from my Mom, but it always turns out consistent and delicious. Left overs I'll shred the beef and make tacos this week. |

Got some strip steaks for lunch. The wife and I have a tradition if eating Italian on Christmas Eve, so doing an easy lasagna for dinner. Just pasta, meat, cheese, some jarred sauce, ricotta, and real parmesan. My real lasagna with six cheeses, three meats, and bechamel takes a lot of cooking, and my feet aren't up to that yet.
