Some Jays fans are surprised but I’m not. I haven’t seen anybody as inept with the bat as this guy was for quite some time. Cards did well to have the Jays pay even a portion of his remaining salary. I’m sure he will clear waivers easily.

**** that. It’s been YEARS of the same thing. Goes to the minors. Comes up “fixed” lasts for a week or two and then falls off the cliff. He can’t stay “fixed”.

Cherry picking some numbers to make it seem better than it is. He's only pitched 12.1 innings for the Blue Jays and has a 57 LOB% with a xFIP of 4.37. Jordan Hicks has pitched about the same for the Blue Jays, he just doesn't have the fortune to have a .125 BABIP like Cabrera.
