Every day, I keep hoping to see a decrease in the amount of cases, but instead, I find myself dropping my jaw at the new daily numbers. Just incredible.
On the bright side, the co-worker I had that got tested was negative, so that's a plus for me at least! |

The number of cases isn't that shocking. I mean we are talking right now about roughly 3% of the population having this and the vast majority of them are going to recover. We just got to hope it doesn't get much worse before it gets better

So NY Post is reporting that NYC has 4,720 patients in hospitals and 850 in ICUs.
That’s around 17.7% of total reported infections in hospital and 3.2% in ICU. I know there have been questions on these to data points so passing along. So far the hospitalizations are in that 15%-20% range with about the same range (down from the earlier 25% of hospitalizations) of those hospitalized needing ventilators. |

It takes about 10 days for the distancing and steps taken to take effect
So hopefully we will start seeing some effects in a week or so Probably won’t peak til the middle or end of April though |

I don't want to say that but it's ****ing true. This isn't a nursing home situation like WA state was. If they won't distance and stay home then sorry but you can **** each other and not everyone else. It's tough cause of their living conditions, I get it. But when they are responsible for literally half the pain the other 49 states are feeling then WTF? |
