I know it’s small sample size territory but Dee Ford was killing Wylie and I’m not sure I noticed Speaks much, and I was watching for him to do something. He uses his hands well and is built like T Sizzle, but I didn’t see him make any plays or have any outstanding matchups in drills.

He does seem like the kind of player that will help the run defense a lot right away, though. He did force a couple runs back inside.

All together it’s tough to judge when both ILBs are out and the secondary is brand new.

Amerson looked very good today...I was expecting the worst...but he had 3 really nice pass breakups and I definitely feel better about his spot.

Fuller dropped a pick and was solid.

Nelson looked better than I’ve seen him.

I came away feeling better about the corners, for sure.

Hunt looks good.

Morse did an interview where he said he had Liz franc last year and tried playing through it and couldn’t and that he feels good, now.

We DESPERATELY need Fisher back. Wylie is trash. Veach better target a backup before the year starts or he’s risking Mahomes health.

Some fan got a super awesome video on their phone by Chris Jones. He took the phone took a selfie with it and then got the crowd hyped up and chanting Chiefs and Jones while running video with it. Then thanked all the fans for playing along and said how great we all were.

There was another cool moment towards the end of practice where the QBs we’re struggling with drills and Kelce, Hill, Conley and Watkins did QB drills for them and got the crowd hyped about it. Hill was pretty good. Hit the upright and the crossbar then barely missed the other two targets.

Nnadi was carrying people’s pads around before and after camp. Rookie stuff.

I got some good shots of Mahomes and others that I’ll try to post.

Can anyone tell me why the Mahomes pic in my avatar is sideways? It wasn’t taken like that and only goes sideways when I post it here.

Thus, you make way more ****ing money, because the number of safeties as good as Eric Berry in the NFL is a small number, and it's not easy to draft them.

That's why we bitch about Daniel Sorensen's $4 million this season and don't care about Berry's $15 million or whatever the **** it is. Because Sorensen will never be that good.
Yeah, I get it and basically just think the DS hate is so overblown but he did play like crap last year so whatever. Statistically and scheme wise he *most* of the time he does his job. I will say considering injury odds and performance, the early years of Abdullah and Parker were more effective statistically and financially than even most of the best Berry years. I'll also say I had eerie feelings of "this only makes sense if they stay healthy and max perform" on the both the Houston and Berry mega deals and thus far both have not panned out in our favor. When it comes to superstar 2nd contracts I am beginning to think two mid range talents are the safer bet.

Mahomes went through that drill a bunch and missed bad on most throws.

TBH he wasn’t very accurate for most of practice.

He threw a pick on a late pass and it seemed like he got in a funk after that.

He was on fire before that pick.

Oh God Cam Erving is listed on the unofficial first depth chart as the starting G. Fisher has a minor injury but it’s anything for him to miss the first preseason game, then just have Mahomes hand the ball off for one series.
