I already know that a medium bag of balls is worth way more than a giant bag of shit.

Waaaaay more.

It might make it more believable if they didn’t mention that.

I’m supposed to believe they contacted the other teams in their division??? Maybe an Eric Murray but not Peters.

He was never gonna sign a 2nd contract to stay in KC. He won’t have a hometown team to give a team friendly contract to but I bet he ends up a Raider just so he can terrorize the Chiefs twice a year.
All Pros talk often of using slights as motivation. I imagine playing for Vegas would give him all the drive he needs.

I just never imagined him wanting to sign a 2nd contract?

Andy Reid traded McNabb to the Skins when he was with the Eagles. Granted, McNabb was nowhere near the talent Peters is, but was definitely more of a team player. Of course, McNabb wasn't in his first contract either...but he was around Alex Smith's age at the time...and was out of the league within 3 or 4 years, iirc.

Point is, Reid ain't ascured to send a mother****er to a division foe.

He's probably like "doesn't matter, Reek will SMOKE him twice a year even if he DOES wind up with the Faid."

**** Marcus Peters. **** him in his stupid ****ing ass. He is ****ing clown shoes.

Peters ain't no introvert but he is an extremely emotionally stunted little boy who can't be away from home for very long. He failed at Wash and now KC. After watching the NFLN interview this guy has the emotional IQ of spoiled 12 y.o. This is the only interview I have ever seen of him and many of you have seen a ton more of his interviews and I read a few comments yesterday that said this NFLN interview was the calmest/matured you have ever seen him. I can only imagine behind close doors even more what this "attention whore" was like.

The guy who OK'd giving up 2 1st round draft picks to draft Mahomes is shitty huh?

OK.

I would bet money you are one of the people that used to swear that the Hunt's wont allow drafting a QB in the 1st round let alone using 2 1st round picks on one.

Why wouldn't the Chiefs call the Raiders? You have nothing to lose. What if Veach called Reggie and Gruden and they got excited and decided to trade the moon for Peters? If they say no. Well, you are in the same position as you started.

Actually, Peters' stock is most likely to only go.down after this.

Dude attacked a coach in college, got kicked off the team for on-and-off-field issues...has had on-and-off-field issues in KC, and reports are he attacked Dave Toub after the Jets game in the locker room.

Apparently, we got what he's worth, because that's all we can get for him NOW.

Imagine how much he's worth on the trade market when he gets charged with felony assault the next time he loses his temper and attacks someone?

**** him. We got his replacement in the Smith/Skins trade. We played our most complete defensive game of the season without him against the Faid at home this year.

BuBye. Great trade.

You'll see...

I heard something today I thought I'd share, coming from the same person who has a buddy in the Chiefs front office. He was a little off on the trade compensation so take this with a grain of salt but...

Supposedly we had EIGHT different teams interested in Peters who were likely to offer a lot more. All eight of these teams got permission from the Chiefs to speak to MP. As the story goes, he told these teams he would only be willing to sign a long term deal with Cali teams and would bail on any other team the first chance he got. This diminished his trade value, so we traded him to the Rams for a bag of dicks. SF offered a slightly smaller bag of dicks. Also this same "source" says that we never offered him up to any AFC West teams.

Remember, they had to deal with Peters' cousin Marshawn Lynch this past year. They probably weren't ready to jump right back up on that Crazy Horse.
