What team do you want Alex to go to, and what do you want in return?

We've seen that Veach can fleece teams for acquiring talent (Ragland/Bills), but we haven't seen what he can do offloading talent. He'll have his first big opportunity with Alex this offseason.

Potential Trade Partners:
  • Browns (AFC)
  • Bills (AFC)
  • Cardinals (NFC
  • Bengals (AFC - longshot)
  • Broncos (AFC - Inter-division unlikely)
  • Jags (AFC - Bortles is holding his own lately)
  • Jets (AFC)
  • Redskins (NFC - If Cousins leaves)

What do they have to offer, and what do you think he can net us?

We'll have to wait and see.. I have no idea what we will get for him but there's a lot of teams out there who are going to want him.

Chargers would be perfect for him. Southern Cal boy too, right? If Rivers hangs it up, which he might, this is a win-win situation.

I think the Browns will trade for him and pick a QB at the top of this draft. They'll do the same thing with Smith next year that we're doing this year.

Alex is nothing but an orange belt sensei now.

2nd rounder and a mid-round pick.

Yeah.. Real game managing numbers there. Lol.
Lol. Wow he finally, in his 13th year, put up over 3500 passing yards and more than 23 passing TDs!!!!! Omg!!!

HE'S ELITE NOW! All his weaknesses and limitations just suddenly disappeared!!!!

Or could it be that he's having an outlying statistical season due to several factors including the fact that he has the best TE in the game & the best deep threat in the game? That his receivers overall are #1 in separation per completion (Right in front of Minnesota, which helps explains Keenum's season)? That the new RPO wrinkles in the offense has helped as well?

There are several reasons why he's having his best statistical season. Just like there were several reasons why Matt Cassel had a career statistical season in 2010.

Hes still the same quarterback. He still has shit pocket presence. He still panics & gets happy feet for no reason. He is still a one read quarterback who doesnt read the field well after the snap. He still sucks on 3rd down. He still sucks in the redzone. He still sucks in the intermediate range of the field. He still cant win games for us at the end of games. He still needs a great running game to succeed. He's still an average game manager who needs everything around him to go well in order for him to succeed.

This outlying statistical season is great for the Chiefs because we'll get more in return now, but my god it's made this season insufferable with you Alexsexuals.

I especially love how the Alex lovers point to Completion ratio.

Yes, it's so difficult throwing high % passes under 10 yards...

Any checkdown artist in the league could put up those numbers if they wanted to be labeled as a game manager... which no QB does.

I do not care where he goes, I just want the best deal for the team in terms of picks.

The Browns will have a ton of picks, and getting a high 2nd rounder from them would almost be like having a first.

So the Browns I guess.

The amount of disdain for the guy is pretty sad, really... and I say that as someone ready to move on to Mahomes

He surely wasnt everything we ever dreamed of, yet here we are having gone from a perennial bad joke, to 5 straight winning seasons and first ever consecutive AFCW titles

Why should we honor a joker who perpetuated the mediocrity this franchise is known for?

It's pathetic when you go full homer. Two weeks ago you were ready to bury this guy, and now that we've achieved this glorious 8-6 record you want to swallow his children again.

Pathetic.
