He was pretty bad last year but he was playing without one hand. He couldnt play up at the line and physical the receiver. So they played him off the receiver but he couldnt run with the faster guys and was burned a lot.
I think he can help if he is back to being able to knock guy off their route and may give Sutton more confidence to blitz more. Its worth a shot guys what else is out there? |

He wasn't bad last year by any means. He just wasn't worth the $20+million (or whatever he was making) "Revis island" hype he'd created the previous 9 years where he would completely take every #1 receiver out of the game with no help. As a #2 corner, I'll take him all day long.

Panic my ***. What's there's to lose? If he stinks he won't start and we're he same place we were before. If he's an improvement then we just got better.
We didn't do any "desperation moves" from 2013-2016 and we didn't win ****. Low risk high reward=good move |

Pass rush is pointless when teams can just 3 step drop and always find a wide open WR because your CB's can't cover a cooking pot.
KC has pass rush issues, but man, the secondary has played like dog shit all season and it's entirely because of terrible CB play. Which is unfortunate because our super amazing fired GM drafted quite a few defensive backs, but most of them sucked. |

Dude, you guys make fun of this, but he's certainly better than Gaines and he's super cheap.

Reid on 810. Says Revis looks great. Expects him to be a starter. Implies teams won't be able to pick on one side now.

Hold on fellas. My alert on my phone said that the Chiefs have been trying to sign him since Berry went down. Said that Revis was open to position change. So maybe with his age and slowness, maybe he is moving to safety?
Don’t burn those Gaines jerseys just yet fellas. Remember, it’s Thanksgiving, not Christmas! |
