*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I am so happy and excited to watch Mahomes grow and become Kansas Citys son. Regardless of what the morons say on here he couldnt be coached by anyone better than Reid. This is a proud day for the franchise, fans, and city!

Eat cock. Time to swing big. I'm tired of limp-dicked picks. **** Eric Fisher. **** safety. Be bold.

Hopefully you and Tigger can share a bullet no need to waste lead on both of you.

**** Alex Smith.

He stabilized the QB position. His job was done back in 2013. He's been here too ****ing long.

He needs to leave now.

Big time arm with a lot of upside.
Makes a lot of bad decisions
Very bad foot work
No quality wins against quality teams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is going to have to have plenty of time to season, at least 2 years.

I was a Watson fan
Very talented
A winner, even against quality teams and talent.
IMHO, Houston came off with the better QB at this time. Watson is closer to being an NFL QB than Mahomes is.

Dafuq?!?! I've clearly and consistently said that I trust Dorsey. I trust him is he passes on a 'can't miss' and I trust him if he moves up.

Alex ain't gonna live forever, and now is a good time to get someone to groom.

Now, the $1M question is if our training staff is up to maximizing young talent at QB like they have been at other positions.

I'm actually hoping Alex throws a fit like he did on the 49ers and forces us to trade him.

He'll leave than the coaching staff decides Mahomes is ready.

Unless he completely wows them without reservation, I see him starting game one of the 2019 regular season.
