Who needs a kid hitting .324 while playing stellar gold glove defense when you have a fatass Brandon Crawford to run out there.

Jordan Hicks pitching well for SF today. Again.
But hey - how can Mozeliak have expected him to go someplace else and be good? He was only here for 6 years. |

Forward-thinking organizations would have traded Goldschmidt after 2022 knowing that the decline was coming. I advocated for it that offseason. The most galling part of these ****ups is how predictable they are.

Forward thinking is too high a bar for these guys. Able to see what's plainly obvious to anyone with a working brain would be good enough for me. Even THAT would've gotten Goldschmidt traded at the deadline last year. The problem with the cardinals is that you can't even set the bar on the ground and expect them to clear it. You gotta dig a trench for that ****er to keep them from tripping over it. It's an impossibly stupid organization. Everywhere. |

Seeing a lot of talk about the empty seats at Bush. Maybe the BFIB may be turning on Mo.

The Giants, on the other hand, slowed him down to 95 so he's not at max throw each time and he is more accurate. They slightly changed his arm delivery and wanted him to add specific pitches, rather than tinkering with a little bit of everything. It was quite maddening to listen to and eventually I just had to stop. There are some serious problems in the Cardinals leadership. |

Every single person in coaching and player development in the entire organization should be fired. |

It ain't OBP/SLG/OPS fellas. But yes. Of course you fire everyone. I'm still hoping the Saudi billionaires that are buying up sports properties get a hankerin' for a baseball team. |
