If he keeps producing, a team out there is going to pay him more than we can afford. And Robinson would deserve it.
I wouldn't exactly be excited to see Robinson go. I just see the writing on the wall, that's all. People are going to have to realize that Pat is going to develop MANY WRs in his 15+ years with KC. Players we really really like are going to come and go often. That's the NFL. |

If he keeps producing, we may be able to extract some serious value for him at the trade deadline. Possibly a second or third rounder. Maybe package him with a high pick to get a starting corner that can improve the defense.
I’d love Veach forever if he trades a first+Robinson for Ramsey or Howard. |

Because it's Pat and he can turn water into wine. Plus we have DAT, Pringle, and Hill is coming back soon.

1) we won’t have the $ to re-sign him after this year. 2) his value right now is high 3) we are trying to make a trade for an all pro CB and want to hold on to draft picks, if possible. Look. I don’t want to see DeMarcus Robinson go, but getting Hill back and Mahomes operating on the highest level any QB in history ever has means we can trade him and not miss a beat on offense while utilizing his value to bolster the defense while keeping draft picks that can help the team in the future. |

Albert Wilson got 8m per after getting 554 yards and 3tds in his last year here. Those were both career highs for him.
Robinson already has 215 yards and 3 TDs in only 3 games. On Pace for 1151 yards and 16tds. Even if he gets 800-1000 yards and 10tds, he will command 10-14m per year. If he keeps his current pace, he will be worth even more. Landry, Diggs, Hilton, Allen, Lockett....is put him in that group if he stays healthy and keeps getting looks after Hill returns. |

What do you consider a discount for him at this point? Extrapolate his stats to reasonable numbers for this season and give a proper expectation for a WR of his age and "production" should expect on the market as a free agent WR? He's likely going to have to just be replaced in next years draft.
