I'd take him in a heartbeat. Him and Pioli could build something here.

Shanny would be incredible but we have no real reason to think they have talked or if Shanny would even take the job nor do we have a reason to think Super Scott wants him.
Herm is still the coach. |

No, he was a better coach when, and it pains me to admir it, when he had probably had one of the top 2 QB's of all time, and lucked out in putting together a pretty formidable defense- which he hasn't been able to replace either sufficiently since.. Still a good HC but needs help in personnal decisions ...

how do we determine who lucks out and who doesn't? he hasn't replace either because he's been GM and he's a better coach than personnel guy. exactly he needs help with personnel decisions like Pioli would provide here. |

Anyway, if this is true (none of know, really), what do you think about the quarterback situation? I love the idea of Shanny developing a rookie. Which one, I haven't a clue.

anyways, back on topic
shanahan is a good coach, but imo he is burnt out...he has been flailing for years but his rep kept people from calling him out... plus, he may say he doesn't want power...but after a year or two he'll be right back in the owners ear...people that age don't change... but hey, there are certainly worse options.. |

With the power of the Pats and Donkeys combined, the Chiefs are going to be the cheatingest team this league has ever seen!!!

I am not either. He's a Donkey and we may never get the stench away.
Actually though, there's one upside for that hiring. He'll have a chip on his shoulder about both Oakland and Denver. Those are 4 games a year he'll do his best to win. |
