****OFFICIAL Chiefs vs 49ers Super Bowl LVIII Game Thread****

Lombardi and Starr.

Noll and Bradshaw.

Walsh and Montana.

Johnson and Aikman.

Belichick and Brady.

Reid and Mahomes.

Today, the Kansas City Chiefs complete the greatest five-year run in NFL history by winning the third Super Bowl in the Patrick Mahomes era, and the fourth in the franchise's glorious history.

Today, we become an undeniable dynasty.

As someone once said...let's do this shit.

It's my day off and I've woken up twice so far. Both times I had a dream about winning today's game. I don't know how to officially interpret those dreams other than we're gonna win.

Good luck, my friends. Bring home the trophy and embarrass Shanarat The Younger while doing it.

I’ll be rooting for you.

That's how local Broncos reporters are reporting it.

"With all the connections we have to the 49ers, this is like our Super Bowl too"

😂🤣

So they agree that we're blowing the 49ers out too?

I suppose they can grieve together...

28-17 Chiefs.

I feel like we'll hold SF to 10 pts like everyone else but in the SB there's always an extra TD or two from crazy bullshit happening...

When I was a kid I loved Tecmo Super Bowl. I would play every game of full seasons. This was in the late 80's and early 90's. I was guiding my Martyball Chiefs to consecutive Super Bowls the way the Niners had just done and the Bills were trying to do. It felt wrong...out of place to see the words "Super Bowl Champions" and "Kansas City Chiefs" next to each other. Like I was cheating somehow to create this alternate reality, this dream world. I hoped that I would get to see it for real in my life, sooner rather than later.

Well it's much later. I've gotten to see it twice, thankfully. Back to back feels unfair, like I'm cheating or something. But this isn't a dream. We aren't dreaming.
