They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Can they get better? Absolutely! Because they’ve been VERY Average so far.

Thankfully the Chargers and Bengals have spotted us a game early.

No room for error in a stacked AFC
Do you believe they are incapable of winning on the road? I sometimes think they are more focused in road games, although it was not the case today. But plenty of examples of shit show stuff at Arrowhead and more focused performances on the road. So we’ll see where it goes.

Think back to Tyreek in 16, other rookies etc

I’ve got no problems with burning a draft pick for a big wr trade.

But I’m not all in on it after week 2 yet

We can’t let this defense go to waste with poor offensive weapons.

If we add a top receiver then we waltz to the Super Bowl.

Let’s see how the next couple weeks go, but we need to be prepared to make a move for a wideout.

No one is making a decision, they are making statements after seeing two weeks of 20 point
and under offensive performances.

Ridiculously proud of our defense but winning games scoring 18 points isn’t sustainable.

That is absolutely fair.

That's basically my position except I am going to bitch more about what I have seen so far.

Do you honestly beleive this is going to be the norm for a Mahomes led offense with Andy Reid?

JFC this hesitation to just say things will obviously get better is reeruned. How many times do you have to see them do it before you just believe?

We got a couple new OTs, a bunch of young WRs, and a starting RB that is coming off offseason surgery.

The offense is nowhere close to as good as it will be down the stretch barring catastrophic injuries.

No, everyone does not expect that.

It's a team.

We expect the GM to collect talent either through the draft, trades, or free agency while maintaining cap health, we expect the coaching staff to coach 'em up and utilize them, and we expect the overall end result to be of serious contender quality.

Right now, we have a largely young and unproven WR room.

This does not mean that they are only capable of week one and two's worth of production. This is what you have to do to draft and develop talent. You have to PLAY them, and get them involved, and yes, live with the newbie mistakes.

Week two was much better than week one. I expect week three will be better than two. And so on, and so on.

I do not think this is a below average group in terms of talent level. I do believe they're learning, and we haven't seen what they will be capable of yet.

The reason I believe that is because Veach, and Reid, and Nagy, and Mahomes are all on board with this group. And Veach, Reid, and Mahomes have earned that patience. 5 straight AFCCG's, 3 SB appearances, and 2 Lombardi's tell me that these guys know what they're doing.

It was the right time to do this-to go young at WR and develop your future stars, BECAUSE Kelce's getting older. He's still Kelce, he's still going to put up a 1000. This is the time to develop the weapons around him. This argument that he shouldn't have to carry a load is horseshit. He's going to do Kelce things until he can't anymore, and only time is going to determine that.

You chicken littles (and I will point out, it's exactly the same bunch that were sobbing in the corner last year that we were in real trouble) should have learned by now that these guys know what they're doing.

This beefed up defense is looking like the real deal. If we have to lean on them a bit early until the offense gets it together, so be it-but they WILL get it together, because Andy ****ing Reid does not field crap offenses, especially not with Patrick Mahomes.

A little patience, please. A little faith. These guys have earned that.

That list of teams is about the same length as it was last season. In case you haven't seen how last season ended, I'll wrap it in a spoiler.

The current regimes history had veteran talent at the position.

For all the shit JJSS takes here, dude had experience.

Toney did nothing outside the SB.

We’re relying on Kelce, two catches a game from MVS and a whole
Lot of ??????
