I shot some Prairie Chickens last year in SD. I left two of them at Pete's Taxidermy in Burke SD to be mounted. Well I just returned from this years trip and I picked up the mount. It's pretty sweet.

The dogs and the birds have become a huge passion for me. The whole thing is art to me when it comes together. And it's a great day even when it doesn't.
I need a place to hunt in KS that's not to pricey. Preferably mixed bad hunting for Rooster and Quail with some Chickens, Huns and Sarptail thrown in. LOL Anybody? |

Up north for Pheasant,few quail
Down south for both. NEB has a lot of birds. Snow geese. Down along the Kansas boarder is the shit. We usually pack up for 5 days & camp & hunt the snowG in mid March My lil buglet gets to go now. she loves it Last edited by LiveSteam; 05-21-2020 at 08:46 PM.. |

Nice pic. So the southern border countys in NB have quail and pheasant in huntable numbers? Cool! I'm not really looking to shoot any geese but any birds my dogs can point is a great thing. So you hooking me up with some ground? |
