****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

But here’s a hint: after this game fewer people are saying they suck than last week… wonder why that might be.
Wonder why? Because most of the “suck” reaction is coming off last weeks performance when they did completely suck. For 1 game.

just because they didn’t suck today doesn’t mean they were particularly good. Most of the guys played “ok” while showing limitations

Okay, so they no longer suck and they’re now just basically being similar to the group that won us a SB last season. Thanks for clearing that up.

I'd like to point out that a Chiefs offense with Hill, Kelce, Watkins, and Hardman stalled for a good chunk of the season in the not so distant past.

Not an excuse that we can trot just anyone out there and we'll be fine, but more of a reminder that offenses with new players need time to gel and develop, and sometimes they fall in a slump. The obvious answer is to just wait and see.

They’re paying tons of money to the qb and the ol. It’s up to them and the coach to develop these young high draft picks

Oh horse shit.

There weren’t people saying we had the greatest WR room we’ve ever had?
Who said losing kelce would hurt but we’d be fine because we have mahomes
Who acted like a WR1 would be a target vulture and even $ aside was on the bottom of our priorities
Who acted like all we had to do was replace juju with skyy and that we’d be golden

Every person was devaluing the living shit out of the WR position because we have Reid and mahomes and don’t act like people werent

Boss chief

He gets carried away.

Losing the greatest tight end of all time would obviously hurt, no one said otherwise.

They’ve invested in the wr spot. Now it’s time to let the guys play. Sorry you don’t like it. Maybe see someone about it?

You would think you’d maybe wait a bit longer than two weeks after you did the same thing last year and they put up elite numbers and won a sb

I’d love to know how many more receiving yards our WRs have than Puca Nacua.

100?

They took a step in the right direction today.

We know what MVS and Watson are.

Skyy had a really nice day. Toney got the monkey off his back. Rice caught both of this targets.

Gray made a couple of reallly big plays.

Just keep moving forward.

Thank you.

Now we have another receiver that the TEXs of the world will forever say, “I can’t believe we drafted Chamarri Conner over Puca Nacua!”

He dropped a bunch of balls in 0 degree temperature against the Seahawks last year and the CP cognoscenti decided he was a fringe/bubble WR.
