They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Moore will stick around. You have to have SOMEONE who knows the offense. Toney might stick around too since we gain nothing and lose nothing by releasing him.

I bet the only release is MVS and maybe Ross or something. The rest will stay and battle new players we bring in.

Why wouldn’t we want MVS back if he renegotiates to a 1-2 year, low base, incentive-laden deal?

At least he takes the top off of defenses.

Yeah I....wouldn't hate keeping MVS around on a cheaper deal.

But I'd imagine they just do the easy thing and release him. Toney is done. There's no coming back from what he did here, it's over.

You may see a Deion Bush situation. We cut Bush but said "hey - keep our number of the market doesn't come together..."

It didn't. We put him on the PS, eventually elevated him, then he drank Lamar Jackson's milkshake.

I wouldn't be surprised if we tell MVS - "Hey, no hard feelings here, but you're not worth a $14 million base. We're going to cut you loose. Go into the market, find out what you're worth and if you want to come back to discuss a short term pillow deal at/near the vet minimum here, we'll gladly discuss it..."

Because I do think Pat really likes him. And as I've said in tepid defense of him around here this year, he does a lot of the little gruntwork things well.

Just sign a dependable vet, draft one, and move on. It'll be fine.

Granted, this was from Mahomes Magic and he’s in need of a brain cortex but still:

Toney should be gone.

MVS should be gone if he isn't willing to take a team-friendly deal. Seems unlikely he'll be able to do a lot better elsewhere.

Moore seems like he could be a camp cut or could be back due to his rookie contract. Hard to keep around a bottom 3 wide receiver who can't play special teams though.

Mvs is frank Clark and we don't need that kind of inconsistency. I appreciate that he shows up in the playoffs, but we need consistency that mvs flat out doesn't bring.for the same reason we didn't need to pay Clark, Sorenson or Damien to show up for a few games. Considering he's the one guy who we actually spend money on that's probably the one spot we can most move on from.

I really wonder if remigio gives competition for skyy. I agree Andy does lean to be guys who know their role in the offense. And at least remigio offers a little bit of a ceiling.

Eh - probably still lose that Raiders game. Maybe the Broncos game as well.

Those were just front to back ugly.

Again, another galaxy brain. The “Real Fan” test. The Dolphins put SeVeNy PoINtS on Denver. Give me fearlesssparkles any day over candyasses.

If your son or daughter had a drug problem but was still getting good grades would you just look away because things are going good? We should be excited as hell about our defense. But concerned as hell about our offense. We are here to win super bowls. Being the absolute best is the barometer

Yeah - you can be a disappointment and get another crack at it (Moore will).

But you can't be a friggen weirdo malcontent. And this social media shit Toney's doing is gonna get him sent packing. I think the team WANTS to like Toney. They want to give him a chance to succeed. They definitely respect the talent.

But in the end they're not gonna stand for that kind of individualistic behavior. Going out there and making a spectacle of yourself on social media just before the AFCCG is just really not acceptable.

So yeah - I expect he's gone next year. Prior to that I wouldn't have said so, but I don't think they'll keep him around now. And I figure they only reason they haven't waived him now is to make sure he doesn't end up returning punts or some shit for SF next week.
