****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Pukas ADOT was 9.1
Addison 12.5
Flowers 8.4

Rashee Rice's ADOT was 4.8, almost half of the next lowest on that list. They were used as real wide receivers. Rice was used as a gadget guy. He was a maximized Mecole Hardman. To win in the playoffs, Reid has to draw up better plays for him. The talent is there.
I agree. This is the guy who can do it but just hasn't been asked to, which is way different from guys who don't do it because they weren't doing it well

MVS playing in Green Bay all of those years should in theory have an advantage tonight.

Theoretically, at least.

There's always got to be some big change, some new scheme, something for some people.

Sometimes it's just guys either playing like shit or playing great. These players all played noticeably worse than last year. Like WAY worse. Like HOLY SHIT WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS worse.

I don't know who to blame exactly, but I think maybe the offensive un-coordinator might have something to do with it.
Incorrect. NFL defenses have changed a bit from last year. Its why offenses were so down this year.

Its a typical reaction for DCs to focus on the team who won the SB and how to slow them down.

By Nagys interview this week his certainly is not high on Hardman.

Nothing is really NEW there. Unless you're arguing that the speed of defenses has caught up.

The answer to cover 6, 9, etc. is to run the ball and quick pass from under center. overloads, quick slants, and run the ****ing ball. In other words, traditional football.

It's no big mystery.

MVS this is you time to shine! You have played in the cold before in Green Bay. You literally saved our ass in the AFC championship game last year. All will be forgiven if you ball out tonight!

I thought our WR's especially Rice played pretty well. With the exception of Hardman..dude needs to get his head in the game.

Rice is a stud though.

The TD Hill had could have been Hardman's if he could track the ball.

Its the same old shit Mahomes has been frustrated with him about for years now, dudes always giving up on his routes, and will NEVER put it all together

So we'll massage his ego best we can to at least to get something out of him this year, then kick him on down the road
