Instead of a program defining win I'm hearing more about the fact this is a program crushing loss. Pinkel already hated by so many. There's no way mizzou will ever win with such wavering support. Getting beat on your home field by a team who hasn't won a bowl game in nearly 25 years is outright devastating. |

Program crushing loss? Lol. Keep drinking KU faithful. Our AD isn't gonna run our football program into the ground the way yours did.
As far as Pinkel goes, he's fine. There is some wavering support, but only because of an embarrassing loss to a BIG bottom feeder. People are emotional right now. This too, shall pass. I like GP, but he certainly wouldn't be my first choice for a head coach. Then again, Mizzou fans should count their blessings. We could be stuck with someone like Brady Hoke, Bo Pelini or Charlie Weis. So it could always be worse . . . . much worse. Mizzou will bounce back fine from this loss. If they were to go 6-2 or 5-3 in this SEC this year and compete for the SEC East title again, this loss will be forgotten by the end of the year. It was a bad loss, but it is hardly program crushing. Sorry to disappoint you. I know you guys would love nothing more than to see Mizzou's football program end up like KU's national embarrassment. Sorry, not gonna happen. |

I am sure Paul Finebaum took some calls from some Alabama fan wanting to fire Nick Saban after they lost to Oklahoma. Every team has fans like them and Mizzou just happens to have a few that post here. |

He's not really gone. He did disappear for college basketball season but came back for college football again. to talk shit on the thread. He also went to the KU thread to ask if Weis was getting fired.
But he looks to be taking another breather. I'm not quite certain why. If only I could put my finger on it? |

Leaving the Big 12 has worked out great for Nebraska. A consistent top 25 football program and a basketball program that landed another top 100 player this week.
