Schefter saying the Chiefs are the front runners is pretty big...

but I refuse to get my hopes up. This is one of those moves that would literally piss everybody off outside of Chiefs fans, so it almost feels to good to be true.

When a I showed up to work a buddy of mine mentioned Hopkins. (He's a Pats fan). I told him if Hopkins is chasing a ring, KC is the place to be. It sent him into a frenzy.

So yes, I agree with you.

100%.

We've never really been in a realistic position to get one of these elite future HOF WRs. Tyreek doesn't count because we drafted him, and no one thought he'd become what he eventually became. And the odds aren't really in our favor with Dhop either. So I'm not really hopeful.

Though if someone merges the threads . . .

IIRC, Hopkins' career earnings to date is 111 mil.

Sign the ****ing two year deal and get a couple of rings with Mahomes slinging it to you.

Yeah, we've seen these things happen too many times for me to really get excited. The longer this plays out the less likely he is to play here.

It would piss off all the Bills fans up here so much I think I would be walking around with a permanent erection for a few months.

This is great.

Either we get him or we make the Bills severely overpay for him.

Win win all around.

This is going to be so freaking epic.

Sorry for the language. I’m excited and haven’t slept well.

Hard to sleep comfortably in my car with people wheeling out TVs constantly.
