It's clearly fried pigeon with Spaghetti-Os and maggots.
Sounds like a legit Cincy delicacy to me |

Funny that this thread has come back up. I randomly stumbled upon this Joe Burrow podcast interview. I initially clicked it to learn more about NFL paydays and ended up watching the whole thing. Burrow seems pretty chill and the interviewers brought up some interesting questions.
I imagine most won’t watch but some things I found interesting: 1) Apparently their paychecks are legitimately just deposited into their bank accounts. Burrow talks about his $36m fully guaranteed rookie deal, which earned him $24.6m at signing. He says it was awesome waking up that morning seeing $12m deposited into his personal account (lost the other $12m to taxes). 2) He mentions that the loudest stadiums he’s played in were Arrowhead and Las Vegas, which I found a bit surprising. 3) He mentions the pre-game conversations. The interviewers asked specifically about Mahomes and Burrow says he didn’t know him personally, which I also found a bit strange. I suppose it makes some sense, but the way the media hypes up these QB rivalries, you’d think there’d be more conversation between them. 4) Burrow thinks the NFL for sure gives better QBs who have proven themselves the RTP calls. He says his first season and halfway into his second, he didn’t get any calls, but has noticed that he will get them now. 5) Along the same vein, he does give a shit about sacks. He says they’re always situational. Taking a sack on 3rd down if you’re not in field goal range legit means nothing so he doesn’t care much. It’s interesting to hear how certain QBs feel about aspects of the game because Mahomes said he isn’t a big completion % guy when he guest starred on the Kelce podcast. |
