Just stopping the major negative plays (drops and turnovers) was enough to win a Super Bowl.

An upgrade beyond that makes us elite.

Not interested in Jamo but if his throw in kept us from drafting Franklin sign me up.

FYI - if we did that, I'd probably go Guyton/Mims and then Walker/McMillan with our 2 2nd rounders.

OT in the first and a pair of WR possibilities that would both complement Rice in their own way in the 2nd. Use the 3rd and 4th round on IOL and DT.

I think it's better to say "those two make it more likely we win, or atleast make it easier".

I'm far more inclined to lose Sneed than Jones because this draft class is stacked in the top 50-60 at CB.

All of these guys can play:

Terrion Arnold, Alabama
Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo
Cooper DeJean, Iowa
Nate Wiggins, Clemson
Kool Aid McKinstry, Alabama
Kamari Lassiter, Georgia
Ennis Rakestraw, Missouri
Kalen King, Penn State
TJ Tampa, Iowa State

Give me any one of those guys in the top 2 rounds and I guarantee the impact from losing Sneed drops a full degree.

If you have to use the pick from trading Sneed to get a CB, it's not a loss because you've gained the cap space to retain the other parts.

I'll be honest, though, I really don't want to lose Sneed. He's a bit of a unicorn as a physically dominant shut-down corner. If his knee really isn't great though, I could see moving on. As I've said around a billion times already, I trust the FO to make the right decision.

I'm picking nits, here, but the dude has also had a handful of concussions. He also had a bunch of penalties.

Of course I recognize that he was the best CB in the league last year. But I'm thinking about the next 3 years.

Yeah, I get it. But then I watch ANY of our playoff games this year and it's just ridiculous. People HATED Taylor's penalties as well, to the point some suggesting CUTTING him during the season. Then, you see him whipping everyone's asses in the postseason and keeping Pat clean.

You don't want to know how many concussions O and D lineman get. It's a fraction of what's reported.

And those penalties are Sneed testing the waters. They're always early and he always plays solid after them.

Watching the rerun of the 2020 combine and I cannot believe the Dolphins watched Herbert throw 50 yards bombs like it was pitch and catch and decided to go with an undersized broke dick that had average arm strength

A dolphins fan friend of mine says that many believe not wanting Tua was the start of all the problems ownership had with Flores.
