Eh. Empirically, maybe. But they don't have anything like the cushion KC has. The Chiefs have much more ability to absorb the loss of a couple WRs, due to all the reasons I stated above. TB's margins are razor thin with the loss of Evans and Godwin. That was my point.

I mean, sure, behind DHop we got a room full of nobodies that 31 other teams probably wouldn't roster. But we still have Travis, the ultimate ace in the hole.

TB doesn't have any aces left. They don't' have any face cards at all. To even make this a game, they need Baker to keep playing like his hair is on fire and Liam Coen needs to come up with an incredible gameplan, and then the 18th best OL and a bunch of JAGs have to execute it to perfection. Just to be within striking distance at the end of the game.

Eh, don't mind me. Had one of those tedious as f days. And the freezer we use to store all the seafood died sometime last night or yesterday and I didn't notice until a couple hours ago, so all that clam juice and shit made the thing stink to high heaven. I'm just annoyed is all. And the house stinks. And I got that crap on my hands and clothes so I stink too. I'll be okay once the game starts. Excuse me.

Question for the room. Bowles has done pretty well against the chiefs and mahomes has not always looked great against cover 3. How do we attack it today?

Tampa media uniformly believe Bucs will lose. It will take a “colossal” effort to win.

You know what that means: Hold on to your butts!

Somewhere I saw a compiled list of about 60 talking heads/analysts' predictions on this game. Only 2 voted for TB.

Obviously I’ll take any kind of win with no injuries, but there’s been far too much talk about how we look like shit this season.

I’d love to see a crisp, efficient game in all phases tonight leading to a comfortable two-score win just to silence the haters. Something like 34-13 would be awesome.

KC's defense is elite this year. Outside of lots of fluke things happening I genuinely wonder how TB scores without Evans and Godwin. Those are two massive losses for them.

It's not going to be a blow-out. We just don't have those games. Like EVER.

I don't see KC losing. It's going to be like 20-16. With a garbage time Tampa TD to make it look close.

If they're going to score with any consistency, it'll have to be through Otton and Rashaad White as a receiver, best guess. Make our LBs cover.

If they could figure out how, I'd attack Justin Reid deep as well. HE's once again giving up a 110+ PR in coverage. Trey Palmer is their version of Worthy, and McMillan, while more of a possession receiver, has enough speed to get deep, so if I were Coen I'd try to match them up vs. Reid a few times. Or, once I saw Otton run a go-route from the slot; he has some speed once he gets going, so maybe try to get Reid matched up on something like that.

But that's about it. If they can't manufacture some kind of run game, they're probably effed.
