For ****'s sake. I guess he'll have to be my give up a Chief for adoption again in 2024. He's been the player I've wanted to get rid of most for the last 2 years. Well, he was until I saw how hilariously dogshit Skyy Moore was this year. I can live with keeping Clyde who admittedly did have his moments last year if we boot Skyy out.

I don't know if we have any chance at a compensatory pick next year at this point, but waiting until the Monday after the draft now is a wise move. I believe that is the date now to sign free agents and not have them count against the formula.

He really doesn't.
He isn't a dynamic runner, and your main point is correct, in that CEH isn't a power running back, but he isn't Dante Hall and Dexter McCluster. Put on just about any CEH highlight, and there will be a lot of plays where CEH is in the middle of a scrum, still moving the pile. |

I mean he did have that one, amazing catch where he jumped 10 feet in the air. So there's that.

My biggest criticism of him for most of his chiefs career was how he would go down at the faintest of contact. But for a couple of games down the stretch last year he stopped doing that as much and made a few big plays by fighting to stay on his feet and getting driven forward by his teammates. The cynic in me thinks that he had the ability to not always go down so easily and only really start fighting when he realised his NFL career was in doubt.
