I think Nicky needs to go back to the type of hitter we saw in the minors. He's starting to get pull happy as he wants to gain some power. He's just not that type of player. He tried to gain weight, he's rolling over and now he's striking out much more.
Play to your strengths kid. Get your walks. Slap at the ball. Get those garbage singles I don't care. |

Frank White's gotta be in there somewhere. Maybe at the top. His peak stands up to anyone short of maybe Cain and his duration exceeds all of them.

I don’t remember White doing anything all that spectacular when I was a kid. Chico Lind was better to me. Rewatching the 1985 playoff games last month reinforced that, solid, never made a mistake but....no wow factor for me
