Wide receivers

13 Ty Fryfogle
17 Richie James
24 Skyy Moore
14 Cornell Powell
27 Nikko Remigio
4 Rashee Rice
85 John Ross
8 Justyn Ross
82 Ihmir Smith-Marsette
19 Kadarius Toney
11 Marquez Valdes-Scantling
84 Justin Watson

We know that Toney, Skyy, Rice, MVS, James, Watson are the guys that will suit up. And that James is probably subbing in for Skyy, while Justin will sub in for MVS.

The rest are rotational depth, placeholders/practice squad-ers, and/or rolls of the dice.

Not sure what else we need to know.

The Chiefs WR depth is at like 5-9 that's the issue. If we're going top 3 yea not great there.

He can either sign a cheap deal or get ****ed.

“Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer writes interest in DeAndre Hopkins is "very tepid from teams" and that he may have to choose between "tak[ing] the bag" and "chase a ring."

Per Breer's reporting, the Chiefs and Bills don't want to pay Hopkins' current asking price and the sense is that Odell Beckham's contract earlier this offseason drove Hopkins' market into a range where neither felt comfortable executing a trade. Hopkins may have to choose between a one-year, mid-range deal in a JuJu Smith-Schuster sort of way or making real money for a team that doesn't have one of the preferred quarterbacks on his list. Breer surveyed evaluators and found a divide on what Hopkins had left, with one anonymous executive saying "He can't run anymore.”

If they’re smart they will. Not much to go on for a defensive guru when his defense has given up 27, 31 and 38 points in 3 of the last 4 playoff games.

I’m glad Daboll left bc he was the coach that really helped them the most with his development of Josh Allen.

If the same happens after this year I’d fire MCDermott and get an offensive coach in there.

That's a solid core of players, though. I think if we truly want him, we'll get him. If we think the price x age factor is too much, we'll simply move on.

They aren't the same type of WR though.

Richie James, according to ESPN, is 5'9", 185-lbs.

Justin Watson is 6'2", 215-lbs.

Richie is a 4.5 guy, Justin is a 4.4 guy. And apparently Justin was the 2nd fastest past 40 yards on the team last season.

They physically play different roles in the offense.

Watson has all the tools to be good. He's also willing to do the dirty work and play special teams. He's making the roster.

Except for hands. His hands are kinda meh.

But Pat trusts him. And that seems to go further than any other trait a WR can have.
