How about you trade Jones and Watkins.

You're looking at $28 million plus.

And 7 picks in the first 5 rounds, minimum.

I think you can fill 4 holes with quality veterans plus have a full draft.
3 players at 7m per and 2 rookie contracts.

Nah dude.

Get Watkins to extend through 2022 and get his 2020 hit to $14 million or lower.
Extend Jones with a low 2020 hit, placing more salary in years 2-4 of a deal.
Pennel, Ragland, Sherman won’t break the bank.
Breeland on a 2-3 year deal between $9-10 million per is doable.

Cut LDT or Reiter.

I just watched every single snap of the defense from the Super Bowl. Focused only on Jones. Got to say, play in and play out, you barely notice him. Wasn't double teamed every play either. If not for the couple of knock downs late, in which the ball found him more than he found the ball, you really would not have know he was on the field.

If we keep him, fine. But Reggie White comparisons? Come on man!

Looked up the defensive stats this morning. 1 assist on a tackle. 3 passes defended.

I wish I could retrieve all those posts of fans saying Jones is a liability against the run. Am I crazy or were there even some fans saying that Jones should not start or at least should not play DT?

I told them he's an All-Pro.

Jones is not at all on the level of Donald and Mack. Is this serious? Donald and Mack were legit DPOY players. Jones is a great player but you don't think of him as a potential DPOY at all honestly unless you are super biased.

I'm really hoping that he gets traded. Never liked that Justin Houston deal. Never liked that Eric Berry deal. Wouldnt like that Chris Jones deal.

Denver Broncos have agreed to a two-year free agent deal with former Seattle and Pittsburgh tight end Nick Vannett that’s worth $5.7 million.

Colts just released CB Pierre Dessir.

29 and 3 picks last year. Probably worth a flier, especially since it wouldn’t count towards comp picks.

I'll bet Dalton.

Winston throws too many picks.

He’s not struggling at all. He’s going to do the same as he has been. Don’t overpay, stay diligent to find value and kill the draft.

We’re gonna lose guys like Fuller, Ogbah and others (that our coaches and surrounding talent make appear better than they are) and they will be replaced with other similar players at similar value levels and going forward we will be given lots of comp picks to improve with.

Getting Pennel and Jones back would be the 2 guys I think are going to give us the biggest ROI.
