So apparently Cario Santos kicked a 60 yard field goal

So Alex Smith doesn't have to move the LOS but 30 yards if he has too.

Exactly, after 5 pages of Tigger, his haters, and his white knights I really don't mind it getting extra posts about actual training camp.

Great news that he isn't looking like a lost rookie...I haven't had an opinion on Mahomes...was waiting until he actually practiced. My expectations were pretty low...

Could KC actually have drafted a real starting QB? This is foreign territory and I dont know how to respond...

He is getting as many reps as second string Tyler Bray meaning it's a fair competition and they like what they are seeing out of Mahomes and he is going make it hard for coaches not to give him the #2 backup job come opening day.

Really imo what separates Patrick from other guys is his love for the game and staying late after practice is a big deal in terms of dedication.

To me it's hard not to get excited for all the possibilities this Franchise can grow with this kid. I also expect some set backs but he will overcome them only to be better for it.

I think what separates him..is he had to carry his college team. They had to essentially score every drive to remain in the game. I think their defense was ranked dead last in the nation.

That's a lot of live experience having to ad-lib/over-compensate in a real game environment. His O-line was terrible. It's showing up in the two minute drills...

Well the good news is our defense is steller and can be dominant with the young guys we got last few drafts and so he doesn't have to put the team all on his shoulders right out of the gate when he does start. He also will have some weapons like Tyreek and Kelce so HOLY SHIT BALLS we can own the NFL this next decade staying healthy and all.

Yeah a lot of people give credit to DeShaun Watson for beating Bama in the title game (which is fair) but few mentioned that Mahomes had pressure to score on every drive to even have a chance at winning.
