Looked good. Hopefully the thought that he was playing injured last year is true. Looked to have some power and burst.

Pop has CEH vision but is fast enough to get away with it. He misses holes a lot and doesn't have the best lateral mobility. Can't wait for him to get back but Hunt has ability that he doesn't so we shouldn't suffer at all when it comes to the run game.

I seriously don’t know where this Hunt is washed narrative came from. He literally had 9 TDs last year while splitting carries and had 2 TDs in the playoffs. This is like the Nickelback hate, people hate them just because they were told to

Two years in a row sub 4 YPC and trending down. But from the eye test he looks good.

It kind of reminded me of when Antonio Brown hooked up with Tom Brady.

Brown had almost no reps with that NE team and immediately had a connection with Brady. He was going to be a perfect fit before he ****ed it all up immediately.

Kareem just fits this offense perfectly, and Reid knows how to use him perfectly.

Reminds me of CJ Anderson signing with the Rams in 2018.

He was great filling in for Gurley. Right guy for the right situation.

Not in THIS offense. His skill set suits it perfectly. That's why I paid no attention to anyone who who thought he'd be a shell of his former self. Dude looked great, and provided what has been missing, since he left. Just wait until the Chiefs work him into the passing game!

Sad but I found myself sitting there thinking "had the hallway kick not happened and he stayed in KC this whole time he might be a HOF'er"

Thanks, Browns, for destroying Kareem's stock so KC could reclaim him for nothing.

I think people hate Nickelback because their music sucks?

What was surprising was how easily he found the edge before making his cut.

The problem with our outside zone stuff is that it seems like we struggle to pressure the edge and open those cutback lanes. Teams just don't respect the edge.

Yesterday Hunt was pressing the edge nicely. He wasn't hitting it because he ain't THAT fast, but he was at least making it an option so the DL had to flow with him. And in the process they opened themselves up for that downhill cut into the gap.

Hunt just knew how to create a hole and when/where to hit it.

He just looked polished. Not dangerous, but effective.
